| 9:00 AM Armstrong County YMCA | SUMMER FUN RUN 5K Race / Walk Bring your Mom or Dad, gather your friends and join us for a 5K Summer Fun Run. It’s always a great way to start your day with a walk or run with a bunch of friends. The course, being flat and scenic, offers runners and walkers of all activity levels a chance to get some fresh air and a bit of exercise, as well as an opportunity to meet up with busy friends and catch up on summer happenings. For the serious runner, this fast flat course is great for improving your times. As always our post-race refreshments are some of the best around. Walkers with strollers or wagons are welcome. Participants will receive a team shirt as well as the experience of playing a great sport on a team of their peers. Registration begins July 28. Stop in at the YMCA today to sign your child up for this fantastic program. Games will be played on Saturdays. Games are tentatively scheduled for the fields at the Cadogan Flats. Coaches and volunteers needed. In addition to other insurance plans, there is no cost to participants who have HighMark Security Blue and Freedom Blue, Medi Gap Blue, Aetna and those who have Medicare Part B. Those who are paying “out of pocket”, the cost of the flu shot would be $30.00 per shot. Maxim Health Care would like to have a 30 shot minimum, so please sign up in the office or on lists provided in the YMCA. |

Dress up as your favorite super hero, sports star, princess, or cartoon figure, and bob for apples, build a scarecrow, play balloon games in the gym and just have fun.
